Lisa made me feel welcomed the minute I walked in the studio. She was attentive and gave me lots of room to be myself and get comfortable. I have never really felt comfortable in front of a camera but she's so good with the camera and direction that by the time we were finished working together I could not believe how comfortable I became and the photos showed..lots to choose from. I loved working with Lisa! I am not a natural in front of the camera, but Lisa quickly put me at ease. The headshots and new photos for me website looked natural and were just what I was hoping for. I couldn’t have been happier with the end result! -

I hired Lisa to help me create headshots for my life coaching website, and general web presence. I wanted something professional but not stuffy, warm and personal but not too "touchy-feely," and had no idea if this would even be possible. Lisa made it happen and I am so thrilled by the results! She is truly a full-service photographer. She came to my house and scoped out which areas and rooms would work best, we picked a couple of outfits together, discussed hair, makeup and jewelry. Lisa has such a fun, open personality that while I thought the shoot would be awkward, it wasn't at all. She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable, the results were outstanding and I couldn't be happier!

I have been dragging my heels for years on a new headshot. I finally made the decision and I could not be happier. Lisa is such a talent and a true artist. I'm thirlled with the process and the outcome.

Lisa photographed two of my teenage children for new acting headshots. She did an incredible job of capturing their true essence, with dozens of different expressions to choose from. Her studio is gorgeous and well equipped and she was able to shoot outside as well. She's also accessible to NYC via train.


Lisa really took the time to get truly authentic headshots. It takes time for people to relax enough to get those super real expressions that all casting directors are looking for, and she never rushed. She also took the time to go back and forth with me (more than she should have!) because I had difficulty choosing and wanted them to look just so. This is a far cry from a "headshot factory."
Also, Lisa's technical ability is stellar. Every one of the dozens of proofs she supplied was razor sharp, perfectly lit and artistically interesting.
We've already had huge success in getting auditions with these. We couldn't be happier.

Some people are meant to be doing what they do in life, and Lisa is one of them. From her infinite passion for creating beauty to her inclination toward seeing beauty. From her understanding and love of light to her skillful technique and knowledge of equipment. From her talent in drawing out the essence of her subject to her natural ability in helping people feel easeful in front of the camera. I could go on.

I knew I needed new professional portraits (for work, my personal website, and LInkedIn); but I absolutely hated the idea of having my picture taking, of posing for photos. But Lisa put me totally at ease and made the whole process fun...who knew! From initial interviews before the shoot (where she got to know me more on a personal level) to helping choose selects, Lisa was incredibly professional and personable. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and the portraits are great. I never thought I'd have trouble narrowing down my favorites! I couldn't recommed Lisa more highly!!
